About Us

1.1-preface
Research is one of the most vital necessities for
coordinating strategies to meet the overall goals and
objectives of any social plan. Iran, like many other
developing nations is confronted with a complex
international, social and economical network. Such a county
on one hand must handle increased socio-economic
globalization and on the other hand must consider internal
social, economical and structural constraints in achieve the
objectives of any social planning and economic development.
This institute believes that such objectives can only be
achieved only through comprehensive planning based on a
practical and applicable research program. In this manner it
will be possible to gain the optimum use of opportunities
and facilities to cultivate socio-economic conditions as
well as improve the current unstable and disproportionate
rates of development.
Looking at the background of the research and planning in
Iran we can see that unfortunately during the implementation
of any plan the usual obstacles are confronted. These are
mainly economical, administrative and motivational issues
which need to be overcome. It is thus important to realize
that the implementation phase of any research and planning
for continues development, must be execute by specialists
and researchers who are working within these governmental
and non-governmental sectors.
